On June 3, 2026, the CiteScore 2025 was published and is now available in the Scopus database.
This edition continues to offer comprehensive coverage, with 31,138 journals organized into 334 subject categories. In addition, 1,973 new publications have been added, further strengthening the global presence of scientific research. Also noteworthy is the growth of open access, with 7,961 open-access journals, 55 of which rank first in their respective categories.
The CiteScore is a bibliometric indicator that measures the academic impact of scientific journals. It is calculated by dividing the number of citations received by articles published in a journal over the past four years by the total number of articles published during that same period. This metric, which is updated annually, allows for an assessment of a journal’s influence within its field of study.
PoliPapers Journals in CiteScore
The 13 scientific journals published by the Polytechnic University of Valencia through PoliPapers continue to be listed in CiteScore, consolidating their international visibility in Scopus. This achievement reflects the ongoing commitment of the editorial, scientific, and technical teams to editorial quality, scientific excellence, and the international reach of the UPV’s publications.
