Rules for Study Rooms and Reading Rooms at UPV Libraries
General Rules
If you are not a student at the UPV, you can come to study during the week. On weekends, holidays, and during exam periods, access is limited to the UPV community. Check out our Opening hours.
Silence must be observed in all rooms, except in those designated for group work, where voices should be kept at a moderate level.
Mobile devices and any other electronic devices that may make a sound and disturb the study environment must be set to silent mode.
Inside the libraries, you may only drink water; eating is not allowed.
Reserving study places is not permitted.
You must maintain a proper and respectful attitude.
Specific Rules for Group Study Rooms
Group Study Rooms can be reserved in half-hour time slots, which may or may not be consecutive, for up to 4 hours.
Supplementary materials (HDMI cable, eraser) are available for checkout at the circulation desk of each library.
Keep your voice down and leave the group study room clean and tidy.
Please observe the minimum and maximum capacity limits for the group study room.
Please respect the times listed on your reservation, both upon arrival and departure.
Use the app to release the reserved group study room if you’re not going to use it; If you don’t, your library account will be blocked for 10 days
Please enter the workspace within the first 10 minutes of your booking; otherwise, the library may cancel the booking and block your library account.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in expulsion and/or temporary suspension from using library services, including borrowing, reserving, or even accessing the library.
