About OER, AI and Accreditations
Collection
The Building Engineering Library has a collection of nearly 11,000 items including monographs, reference works, language books and multimedia material. There is also a collection of final projects and a collection of journals.
Journals

The Library has its own collection of 33 journals The paper copies, which can be consulted in the room and can also be borrowed for a period of seven days.
To access the electronic collection of Electronic Journals on Architecture and Building. You must be connected to the university network. If you are outside the UPV, you must create one; virtual private network(VPN).
Course reading lists

From here you can consult the reading lists of the Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Architecture, the Master’s Degree in Building Constructions and the Master’s Degree in Building Rehabilitation and Sustainability which are available in Libguides and PoliBuscador.
You can also find the recommended readings by entering the name or code of the subject in our search engine. Expand the advanced search form and type the subject code in the ‘Subject’ field.

Spaces and equipment
Library has a surface area of 250 m2 and has a total of 90 reading stations.
Study room
48 study room seats




Group work rooms
6 group study rooms:
- All group study rooms are bookable from MiUPV mobile app.
- They are provided for 4 hours to a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 7.
- All group study rooms also have screens (HDMI cable is available for loan at information desk).




Computer consultation area
1 computer for consultation of Final Degree Projects (PFC) prior to 2011.
Wellbeing at the library
The library offers spaces and services to relax and disconnect as:
- Outdoor spaces to relax, take a break, or read in peace.
- Parking spaces for bicycles and scooters next to the library.
- Stay hydrated—refill your bottle at the cold water fountains located beside the library.
- Need a lunch break? Right next to the library you’ll find the “La Vella” Cafeteria. Or, if you prefer, vending machines are also available in Building 1E.
The Library also recommends the Leisure Biblioguide and PressReader (a digital platform that offers unlimited access to newspapers and magazines).
