    Collection

    Most of the School of Aerospace Engineering and Industrial Design Library’s collection is open access, with more than 30,000 monographs. It is organized by subject, and includes the specialized bibliography.

    Journals

    In the Library we have a large collection of journals (about 180 titles), most of them specialized in the subjects of study of the School.

    Many of these journals are no longer received, but we keep them for their thematic and/or historical interest (some titles date back to the end of the 19th century).

    You can borrow all the journals for 7 days, and renew for up to 2 months.

    In the Library we have part of the Final Projects of the School. The academic works can be found in  Polibuscador.

    Although the library specializes in resources in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, aerospace engineering, and industrial and product design, we also a collection of leisure, human development and culture.

    Language Learning

    In the Design Library you can find a collection of language books to improve your level, prepare for your stay abroad or take the certification exams. We have study books by levels, workbooks, grammars.

    You can see our  selection and reserve or see the complete collection in the 0-40 shelves of the Library. You also have a dictionary collection to help you with your homework, and you’ll find even more in the O-G shelves.

    In the Library we are committed to have at least one copy of all the course reading lists.

    Laptop loan

    Students of the School of Aerospace Engineering and Industrial Design can borrow laptops in the Library. We have 20 laptops with a 7-day loan, 5 of them with the Adobe CC suite license, and 5 laptops with a 1-day loan.

    The opening hours for the loan and return of laptops are from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

    The equipment has a direct access to https://polilabs.upv.es including thevirtual desktopof the Library with the majority of enterprise applications installed, as well as a set of campus applications (Autocad, MatLab, Mathematica, Revit, Solidworks, Statgraphics and Visual Studio). Access to Polilabs requires login with username and password, selecting your corresponding domain. In the UPV-BIBLIOTECA icon access to the configuration, you will be asked to install a plugin, you have to cancel it, and choose the HTML5-RDP connection. For more information see the User’s manual prepared by ASIC.
