The UPV Library is organizing a workshop on open science and research evaluation as part of Open Access Week
On October 20, 2026, the Alfons Roig Auditorium at the School of Fine Arts (and also online) will host the conference “The Price of Knowledge: Funding, Sharing, and Recognizing Research.” Organized by the UPV’s Library, Documentation, and Open Science Division, this event is being held in observance of International Open Access Day to reflect on the challenges, sustainability, and recognition of shared knowledge.
Throughout the morning, we will host panel discussions to examine who funds open access at the university level and how artistic and architectural creation is evaluated and recognized, featuring experts such as Susana Quicios Molina, Director of ANECA’s Faculty Evaluation Division.
Don’t miss this opportunity to catch up, share your concerns, and celebrate Open Access Week with us. We look forward to seeing you there!
