
How to search for unsubscribed articles
For full text access toarticles that we do not have in the collection of journals subscribed to by the Library.There are several alternatives that can be consulted below:
1. Use the Interlibrary Loan and Document Retrieval Service of the Library
The purpose of this service is to provide UPV members with access to documents not available in our library.
2. Install plugins/extensions in the browser.
Unpaywall
It warns if an open and free version of the searched item is available.
Google Scholar Button
Access Google Scholar from any web page.
EndNote Click
Search full-text PDF files and find the best available version of a scholarly article.
Open Access Button It looks for an open and free version of the article. If not found, the system contacts the author to request a copy.
Lazy Scholar Finds free full-text academic texts, metrics and provides links for quick citation and sharing automatically.
3. Search in the browser without plugins/extensions.

Thematic or institutional repositories
PubMed Central
Repository that collects open access articles in biomedicine and health sciences.
Arxiv
Repository that collects open access articles in physics, mathematics or biology, among other disciplines.

Aggregators
Base
Multidisciplinary repository.
Collect
National aggregator of open access scientific repositories.
Dialnet
Bibliographic portal that provides visibility to the Hispanic scientific literature.
Core
Multidisciplinary repository.

Search engines
Dimensions
Database that allows full-text search of more than 200 million documents. To access it, you must have created an account (it is free).
OpenAlex
Free and open catalog of academic documents, authors and institutions.
Google Scholar
Search engine that locates academic documents: articles, theses, books, patents, conference proceedings and abstracts.
4. Contact the author directly

From a repository
They allow you to request a copy from the author.
