Opening hours
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.*.
- Laptops from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm.
Weekends : from 8:30 am to 8:45 pm*.
- No loan or return of laptops.
- Access restricted to the UPV community and authorized external personnel.

Collection
The Central Library has a collection of approximately 200,000 items. It is made up of books, journals, maps, doctoral theses, periodicals, films and other audiovisual materials. In addition, the catalog of the UPV Library, Polibuscador, offers access to e-journals, e-books, technical standards, databases and Riunet (the institutional repository of the UPV)
Journals
The Library has approximately 9,000 titles of journals in printed and electronic format. The printed journals are located on the second floor.
Travel Guides
In the shelf 6-22 you can find the collection of travel guides of countries and cities around the world, accommodation guides, books on hiking, trekking, mountaineering, etc.
Spaces and equipment
The Central Library has about 1,380 study stations distributed in different rooms. Not all the rooms have the same characteristics. Therefore, we recommend you to look for the area that best suits your study preferences.
Individual study rooms
- La Información, 2nd floor
270 study places, 11 adapted stations.
4 computers with Internet access, 1 catalog, 2 scanners for A3, 179 tables with power outlets. - La Cultura, 3rd floor
190 study places, 2 adapted stations, 2 computers (1 adapted). Individual study carrels,1 catalog, 84 tables with power outlets.
Intensive study rooms

32 group study rooms for 4 to 6 people, 1 group study room for 8 people, bookable with MiUPV app.

Journals room
Located on the second floor with a selection of recent journals.
12 seats with sofas, poufs and power outlets.
Rest areas on the 1st and 2nd floors and other services
On the first floor you’ll find a rest area with tables equipped with power outlets and 18 seating spots with sofas and poufs, ideal for relaxing alone or in groups.
On the second floor, next to the loans desk, there are also rest armchairs available.
Additionally, you have water fountains on the ground floor and first floor, near the restrooms.
At the library entrance, coffee and vending machines are available if you want or need something. Remember that you cannot bring food or drinks into the library.
