The UPV Library, in collaboration with the Col-legi Oficial de Bibliotecaris i Documentalistes de la Comunitat Valenciana (Official College of Librarians and Documentalists of the Valencian Community) (COBDCV), has launched a solidarity campaignto help recover school libraries affected by the DANA.
How can you help?
FromFebruary 24 to March 7(EXTENDED UNTIL MARCH 12) you can donatebooksin the UPV Libraries from the Alcoy, Gandía and Valencia campuses.
Needed:
- Children’s and young adult literature
- Comics and graphic novels
- Leveled readings by language
- Titles of obligatory reading in schools and institutes.
Make a conscious donation, donate new or used books in good condition that can be really useful for the educational centers.
Collection points:
- Alcoy Campus Library: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
- The rest of UPV Libraries in Valencia and Gandía during its schedule usual.
Every book donated is an opportunity to rebuild learning in these educational centers. Collaborate and together we will give them back the illusion!
