The exhibition presents portraits of friends, relatives and other people who are close to us; drawings made with different techniques.
In collaboration with the AD Group, fromDrawing, language and techniques and under the coordination of teacher Lola Vidal, presents the result of a project that was born in the classroom and grew out of it: the drawing of portraits.
This exhibition shows the study and practice of portraiture in three stages: the beginning, with the drawing and study of the proportions established by the ideal canon. It is followed by the analysis and digital study of the measurements and proportions on our own face, using the cell phone as a tool. And finally, the personal drawings on paper where different techniques and finishes are experimented.
Close people offers us the opportunity to turn an academic subject into personal baggage, turning the technique into something of our own and allowing drawing to leave the classroom so that everyone can start to trace their own path.
