The Academia Joven de España (AJdE), together with the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), are organizing the third edition of the Research Career Course to be held at the Puerta de Toledo campus of UC3M on September 25 and 26, 2024. The course addresses a multitude of aspects that concern research personnel in training.
The main objective of the course is to present and develop the skills necessary for a quality research career in Spain. The specific objectives of the course are:
- Sources of financing and how to obtain it
- Knowledge of the different stages of the research career.
- How to write a scientific article
- How to build a CV
- How to prepare a research proposal
- Management of research groups
- Transfer to the private sector
- Application of the gender and equality perspective in research groups.
- Professional alternatives to research
