3rd edition of the Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis in Digital Humanities – Open call until 02/15/2024 (14 h, Spanish peninsular time)

The International Society for Hispanic Digital Humanities (HDH) and the BBVA Foundation jointly announce the third edition of the International Society for Hispanic Digital Humanities – BBVA Foundation Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis developed in the field of Digital Humanities, with the aim of recognizing contributions that, from innovation, creativity, originality and scientific rigor in the field of Digital Humanities, use information technologies or other advanced techniques, tools, computational methodologies and automation processes, or are related to the digital ecosystem, originality and scientific rigor in the field of Digital Humanities, use information technologies or other techniques, tools, computational methodologies and advanced automation processes, or are related to the digital ecosystem, and present a high capacity to advance the knowledge produced in the humanistic disciplines.

The award is aimed at researchers in Digital Humanities whose doctoral thesis has been defended at a Spanish university, regardless of their nationality and place of residence.

In this call, a single prize, with a gross award of 3,000 euros, will be awarded to the best doctoral thesis defended in the year 2022.
