General participation requirements
Vulcanus is a very competitive program;In the previous edition, 330 applications were received, 60 were pre-selected and 16 internships were finally assigned (for the whole of Europe). Don’t get frustrated if you are not selected.
- Nationality of a state of the European Union or any other SMP partner country. For nationals of another country, please consult this website

- Engineering, technology, science, architecture or civil engineering students enrolled between the 4th year of undergraduate studies and the penultimate year of doctoral studies.
- Be able to demonstrate active enrollment at UPV up to one month before the start of the program (starts August 1, 2025).
- Scrupulously respect the dates of the entire program, without the possibility of returning to Spain or making interruptions.
- Stays and internship data may NOT be used for academic work (TFG or TFM).
