CALL FOR MOBILITY GRANTS FOR FPI-UPV AND/OR CO-SUPERVISION STUDENTS

The purpose of the call is to finance all or part of the cost of carrying out the following activities
stays in prestigious foreign centers.

Requirements

Students enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic year in a program of the following programs are eligible to apply for this aid
D. from the Universitat Politècnica de València who meet the following requirements:

  1. Be an active beneficiary of a predoctoral contract under the UPV’s Research Personnel Training Program (FPI) at the time of application and for the entire duration of the stay, or be a doctoral student working on their thesis under joint supervision, according to the requirements established in Royal Decree 99/2011, of January 28, even if they are not recipients of a FPI-UPV grant. In the latter case, a joint supervision agreement must be signed between the foreign institution and the UPV at the time of application.
  2. Have an approved research plan for their doctoral thesis.
  3. Have a favorable evaluation from the Academic Committee for the 2024/2025 academic year.
  4. In the case of students under joint supervision, the following are also required:
  • Both the UPV directors and the co-directors of the joint supervision institution must be approved by the CAPD (Department of Public Administration of the University of Valencia) and registered in the Thesis Management application.
  • The applicant must not have completed the minimum length of stay required by their agreement with their joint supervision university.

Candidates must meet these requirements by the closing date of the call and until the end of their stay.

The stay must be carried out between January 1, 2026 and November 30, 2026

Grant Endowment

Maximum financial endowment, to cover all costs associated with the mobility action:

  • In the case of students benefiting from an FPI-UPV predoctoral contract, the maximum grant will be
    3,600 for stays in European countries and 4,200 for stays in other countries.
  • In the case of co-supervised students, the maximum grant will be 6,600 € for stays in the following countries
    7,200 in other countries.
