Responsibility of the applicant

The director of the Department, Centre or School or responsible person who receives the work(s) is liable for any damage or deterioration under the legal framework of Law 16/1985 on the Protection and Conservation of Spanish Historical Heritage and Royal Decree 111/1986.

In the event that the work is not framed the loan will not go ahead, unless the resulting expenses are borne by the requesting Department or Centre. To this end, the request and acceptance of the costs must be signed and stamped by the person responsible. Payment for framing the work will not entail any property rights, and the work may be recalled by the Heritage and Art Collection Office of the UPV whenever necessary.

For any incident, or for the withdrawal or return of a work, we must be informed through the loan request form, which must indicate the references of the corresponding works. This reference features on the label as an inventory number in brackets.

Finally, only works that meet the conditions for their conservation will be stored in the Art Collection facilities.

Working days, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 2pm.
