Responsibility of the applicant

The terms and conditions of the loan of the work are established through the signature of a loan agreement between the person in charge of the institution and the Rector of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

Said loan agreement includes various clauses on the liability and commitments of the applicant, and on the transportation and insurance policy of the borrowed works, which may be summarised in the following points:

The applicant who receives the work(s) is liable for any damage or deterioration under the legal framework of Law 16/1985 on the Protection and Conservation of Spanish Historical Heritage and Royal Decree 111/1986.

The applicant is responsible for transporting the works, both for collection and return, by a reliable carrier authorised to transport works of art, as well as for taking out an insurance policy.

The applicant agrees to deliver a copy of the exhibition catalogue and all publicity materials (poster, news, website, mentions in media, etc.)
