Two degrees linked to the ETSINF are among the five with the highest cut-off scores at the UPV

The Double Degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics, with a score of 13.500, ranks second at the University, trailing only the Sequential Academic Program (PARS) in Aeronautical Engineering, which has a score of 13.504. Meanwhile, the Double Degree in Data Science and Industrial Organization Engineering, with a score of 12.825, is the fourth program with the highest admission score at the UPV.

High Demand for ETSINF Degrees

The pre-registration data also confirm the interest generated by ETSINF’s academic offerings. The Double Degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics has received 472 applications for its 15 spots, 140 of which were first-choice applications. The Double Degree in Data Science and Industrial Organization Engineering There are 548 applicants for 20 spots, with 97 applicants listing this as their first choice.

Also noteworthy is the demand from the Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence, with 1,573 applicants—191 of whom listed it as their first choice—for the 75 available spots and a cutoff score of 10.968.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering has received 2,311 applications for 350 spots, while the PARS in Computer Engineering has received 1,228 applications for 50 spots and has a cutoff score of 12.017. Meanwhile, the Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science has received 1,373 applications for 120 spots and a cutoff score of 10.592; the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Computing and Robotics There are 1,337 applicants for 75 positions, resulting in a ratio of 10.133.

Rounding out the lineup is the Dual Degree in Computer Engineering and Business Administration and Management, with a cutoff score of 10.796, 500 applications, and 45 spots.

These results solidify ETSINF’s position as a leading center for education in computer engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, and robotics—strategic areas for addressing the technological transformation of businesses, government agencies, and society.

Across the entire university, the initial admissions process for the 2026–2027 academic year has granted admission to 5,947 students, a 3.2% increase over the previous year. This figure continues the UPV’s growth trend over the past decade and confirms the high demand for its degree programs.
