What is the Project Fair?
Visibility
The Project Fair Organized by the Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, this event aims to highlight the work carried out by students in various fields of computer science and digital technologies. This event provides a platform where students can present and share projects completed as part of their coursework, entrepreneurial initiatives, applied research projects, and proposals spearheaded by student associations.
Innovation
In addition to serving as a showcase for the the students’ talent and creativity, the fair promotes the knowledge sharing among students, faculty, and partner companies, fostering a connection between academic training and the real-world needs of the technology sector. Through demonstrations, prototypes, and presentations, participants have the opportunity to showcase innovative solutions to problems of various kinds, developing skills related to communication, teamwork, and knowledge transfer.
Consolidation
With several editions held over the years, the Project Fair has established itself as one of the ETSINF’s most representative activities, bringing together hundreds of students each academic year to present their projects to students and faculty from across the university, as well as to representatives from the local business community. In this way, the fair has become a showcase for the talent, creativity, and innovative capacity of future computer science professionals, highlighting their contribution to technological advancement and to the social and economic development of society.
Organization
The Project Fair is organized by the Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering (ETSINF), through its Sub-Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Spontaneous Innovation and Start.inf, the school’s own entrepreneurship space. Faculty members teaching the courses that support the projects on display, as well as students who are members of the various teams, also collaborate in the event’s organization. Finally, we would like to highlight and express our gratitude for the support of the support staff and the entire ETSINF management team, whose involvement is essential to the success of the fair.
