Access to Festinfor 2025 Videos

L’escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Informàtica (ETSINF) of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) held last February, the fifth edition of festinFor, the traditional festival of computing, arts and culture, which this year has had competitions, outreach and debate sessions, exhibition of projects and experts in different disciplines, during every Thursday of February.

Among the activities of this edition, we highlight theProject Fairwhich was held onFebruary 6. In it, students of ETSINF UPV exposed the websites and applications designed and developed by themselves:

Also the competition of programming, Codewars organized by the Spontaneous Generation Competitive Programming group (CP-UPV), in which participants will have to solve challenges and propose possible solutions.

Regarding that This year, two have been programmed. One of them will be held on February 20 by the speaker Mila del Saz about “Aggression towards women in social networks in an AI world: challenges and possible solutions.“The objective of the event was to highlight the challenges faced by society in the face of aggressions received by girls and women on social networks.

We also had Manuel Rubio who gave a talk on February 27th entitled “Programming another story: Don’t learn to program!” where we review why we use programming languages and the history of many of the languages we use.
