The Technical Architecture Chair is a joint initiative between the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and the Official Association of Technical Architects of Valencia (CAATIEV). It was created to bridge the gap between academic training and professional practice, facilitating direct contact between students at the Higher Technical School of Building Engineering (ETSIE) and the professional world.
Objectives and Activities
- Professional integration: To introduce students in their first years to the realities of the industry.
- Education and Employment: Promote activities, conferences, seminars, and awards for the best bachelor’s thesis projects (TFG) within the ETSIE UPV.

The department is headquartered at and conducts its activities at the facilities of the ETSIE inside the UPV’s Vera Campus (Camino de Vera, no number, Valencia).
