DESCRIPTION:

ETSA (Higher Technical School of Architecture) Audiovisual Services. This is a general service specializing in the management and maintenance of audiovisual equipment and in providing technical support in general classrooms, the Graduation Hall, and the Main Auditorium. It also offers advice on image and sound to the School’s faculty and students.

AUDIOVISUAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT:

• Event setup and support in the Aula Magna, the Screening Room, the Graduation Hall, and other facilities at ETSA.
• Live recording and production of events. Sound systems.
• Digital broadcasting of events (Internet/streaming).
• Simultaneous translation support.
• User support for organizing events involving audiovisual media.
• ETSA Audiovisual Equipment and Facilities Maintenance.

AUDIO/VIDEO EDITING:

• The Audiovisual Services Department provides direct support to the CIA (Architectural Information Center) by producing DVDs of all events, conferences, institutional ceremonies, etc. The material is added to the video library and is available to students and faculty for reference.
• Audio and video editing, video file compression (POLITUBE), format conversions, and transferring audiovisual material to other audio/video media.

VIDEO CONFERENCING SERVICE:

• The school has professional videoconferencing equipment for conducting IP-based videoconferences.
• Management, testing, and technical support for establishing high-definition videoconferencing connections between remote locations and ETSA.
• Ability to establish point-to-point and multipoint connections (connections with multiple locations at the same time).

All classrooms at ETSA are equipped with a multimedia system:

• Public Address System.
• Wireless microphone.
• Video Projector (RGB, Video).
• Desktop PC.

GRADUATION HALL: (Seating capacity: 49 seats)

Equipment:

• Public Address System.
• 3 Tabletop microphones.
• Video Projector (RGB, Video).
• PC (laptop).

The Graduation Hall is particularly well-suited for hosting conferences, thesis defenses, final-year projects, and presentations in general.

THEATER: (Capacity: 99 seats)

Equipment:

• Public Address System.
• Wireless microphones.
• 4 Tabletop microphones.
• Video Projector (RGB, Video).
• PC (laptop).
• Closed-circuit television system with 3 cameras (option to record the event in various DVD or DV formats)
• Video conference.

The Screening Room is particularly well-suited for video screenings, conferences, various presentations (books, projects), thesis defenses, and presentations of final projects for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as short courses.

AULA MAGNA: (Seating capacity: 333)

Equipment:

• Public Address System.
• Wireless microphones.
• 4 Tabletop microphones.
• Video Projector (RGB, Video).
• PC (laptop).
• Closed-circuit television system with 3 cameras (option to record the event in various formats, such as DVD or DV).
• Video conference.
• Simultaneous interpretation booths for interpretation in up to two languages.

The Aula Magna is particularly well-suited for hosting institutional events (such as the opening and closing ceremonies of the academic year), small musical performances, national and international conferences, workshops, and master’s programs.
