Everything you need to know before you start
What does my circuit include?
Your semester circuit consists of one Speaking Hub and one additional activity of your choice.
How long does my registration last?
Both registrations remain active throughout the semester unless you request to withdraw or the Centro de Lenguas processes your withdrawal due to non-compliance with the attendance rules.
Does Faculty 1-to-1 count towards the limit?
No. Faculty 1-to-1 is an additional activity for PDI. Each booking is for a specific date, and you can request a new session every week, subject to availability.
Does Insight Box count towards the limit?
No. Insight Box activities are additional, and you can take part in them alongside your Speaking Hub and your other activity.
How do I book Faculty 1-to-1?
Open one of the Faculty time slots in the timetable and select your preferred date in the booking system. You can book a future session even if it takes place the following week.
What should I do if I cannot attend the next session?
Go to “My activities” and select “I cannot attend the next session”. The notice applies only to that date, and your semester registration will remain active.
What happens if I miss two sessions without justification?
Two consecutive unexcused absences may result in a manual withdrawal to free up the place. The Centro de Lenguas will review the case before processing it.
How do I switch Speaking Hub or activity?
You must first withdraw from your current registration and then register for the new option, subject to availability.
What happens if the group is full?
You can join the waiting list. When a place becomes available, the system will offer it according to the order in which requests were registered.
How do I cancel a Faculty 1-to-1 booking?
Go to “My activities”, find the booked date and cancel that session only. Your semester registrations will not be affected.
Share what you know and help others communicate more effectively
We are looking for proactive, curious people who want to take part in a multilingual community. You can help facilitate activities, support participants, suggest challenges, share your knowledge or help create new spaces for people to connect.
You do not need to have everything ready. Tell us what you can do, which language you would like to share or which activity you would like to launch.
You suggest it, and we make it happen
Would you like to learn something specific or teach a skill you have mastered in another language? If you have a creative idea or a specific need, we will design the next workshop together.
