LANGUAGE COURSES AT THE LANGUAGE CENTER

The Language Center is launching a new academic program of language courses.

Our new proposal includes:

  • Language Courses by Level
  • Prep Courses for Official Certification Exams
  • Courses Specifically for Faculty and Academic Support Staff
  • Maintenance Courses for Faculty and Staff
  • PluS Languages Program2 60

Always in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). These approaches enable students to develop their communication skills—both oral and written—in real-life contexts related to academic and professional settings, as well as to everyday life and international engagement.

On-demand training and thematic workshops are open to all groups, both within the university community and outside the UPV.

Through real-life UPV scenarios—such as public speaking, preparing presentations, and navigating and communicating in international professional and academic settings—participants gradually incorporate the language as a work tool, using a hands-on, practical, and results-oriented methodology.

The language course curriculum is organized by level and consists of 50 hours per four-month term, This allows students to progress gradually and ensures continuity in their learning throughout the first and second semesters. These courses are designed for those who wish to begin learning English or continue advancing their skills, from the very basics to greater fluency and independence. The approach is clear: Learn at your own pace, with confidence, and in a guided manner.
