Recognition of Credits in Higher Level Training Cycle

Specific criteria for the recognition of credits in undergraduate studies for students coming from Higher Level Training Cycles (CFGS).

EXTRAORDINARY TERM: December 2 to December 13, 2024

It is a prerequisite;have formalized the registration of the course prior to the application for recognition.

When, exceptionally, the enrollment takes place after that date, acknowledgements may be requested from the moment of enrollment for a period of 10 days.

APPLICATION. The application for credit recognition must be submitted through the electronic form available in the student intranetin the section ‘Virtual Secretary / Applications / Requests for Recognition Requests‘.

The application shall specify the type of subjects passed at origin and those for which recognition is requested.

The tool ” recognition simulatorThe “Merit Recognition” section allows students to know in a simple way what rules exist on previous recognitions that would be automatically applied to them according to the merits provided.

DOCUMENTATION TO BE PROVIDED BY APPLICANTS

The applicant must incorporate in electronic format the supporting documentation of the alleged merits. In this case of students coming from official higher education must provide the Official Academic Certificationof the studies previously taken, where the grade in base 10, type and credits of the subject are stated.

After completing the application electronically, the applicant must print the application for recognition, sign it and deliver it to ORIGINAL at the Center’s Secretariat, as well as ORIGINAL AND COPYof the documents accrediting the merits.

Aimed at students of degrees in cycles that have already expired or degrees with modified or expiring curricula.

  • Resolution: Until July 17, 2024
  • The application must be submitted by attaching it to a Polyconsult from the student’s intranet.

Extraordinary Recognition of Credits in Older Degrees

Extraordinary Recognition of Credits in Older Degrees

For adapted students coming from the following degrees: Computer Engineering (110), Technical Engineer in Computer Management (111) and Technical Engineer in Computer Systems (112).

Agreement adopted in the CAT of the Degree in Computer Engineering held on 10/12/2013, in point 5º of the agenda, in which the proposal of Extraordinary Recognition of Credits in the Degree in Computer Engineering (156) was approved for those adapted students coming from the degrees Computer Engineering (110), Technical Engineer in Computer Management (111) and Technical Engineer in Computer Systems (112), the text being as follows:

“Those students who, once the adaptation to the Degree in Computer Engineering is completed, the number of credits to be adapted is less than the number of credits they had studied in the degree of origin, it is proposed the extraordinary recognition of credits in the subject Complementary Training, up to a maximum of 27 ects for the following reasons:

  1. Subjects recognized in a branch other than the one taken by the student.
  2. Compulsory/optional/free choice subjects passed in the degree of origin not recognized in the adaptation tables.
  3. Recognition of internships in companies carried out in the degree of origin for external internships (maximum 18 ects).
  4. Recognition of LE activities that appear in the current offer of university activities recognized in Degree (maximum 6 ects): student representation, PATU program, MENTOR program. Each activity will be recognized with the credits established in the current catalog of university activities for undergraduate degrees.
  5. Only credits earned in the 2001 Study Plan will be recognized.

The equivalence in credits will be 1 LRU credit = 1 ECTS credit “.
