Roberto Esposito is one of the most important living philosophers today. A professor of theoretical philosophy at the Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa), he has taught courses and given lectures at prestigious universities in both Europe and the United States. A member of the scientific committee of the Collège International de Philosophie (Paris), he is one of the founders of the Research Center on the European Political Lexicon and the International Center for the European Legal and Political Lexicon, as well as co-editor of the journal Political Philosophy. Among his many books, the following are particularly noteworthy (translated into Spanish): The Third Person: The Politics of Life and the Philosophy of the Impersonal (2009), Community, Immunity, and Biopolitics (2009), From the Outside: A Philosophy for Europe (2016), Immunitas.
