Letter-shaped inn. A technology of form

From October 23, 2026, to November 14, 2027

Espai n-1, Ground Floor, UPV Central Library

Opening: October 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

A weaving chart is a technical representation of the fabric. On a grid-like surface, the weft threads and patterns are drawn, which are then transferred to the loom. This drawing already embodies a way of thinking about the material: organizing relationships, establishing instructions, and making them communicable.

Patterns, notations, and codes all share this ability to organize information and turn it into action. A rule can be repeated, shifted, or changed during its execution. Each implementation incorporates its own conditions within the system.

Textile technologies make this relationship between structure and transformation visible. The yarn responds to tension, the pattern adapts to the process, and technical knowledge is also built up as the work progresses. The form bears the imprint of these decisions.

The works gathered here draw on these principles to explore how an organization can define itself, communicate, and transform. Code, matter, and system are part of the same field of operations, where each variation opens up new possibilities for form.
