The event, which was well attended, provided an opportunity to present the Language Center’s new initiatives and gather specific feedback from the university community at the Alcoy campus
The UPV Language Center was at the Alcoy Campus this past Tuesday to present the center’s new initiatives during a session aimed at the PTGAS, PDI, and students on campus.
The meeting provided a first-hand look at the Language Center project, designed as a service open to the entire university community and aimed at strengthening language learning from a practical, accessible, and useful perspective for everyday academic, professional, and international life.
During the session, we presented our main areas of focus and the opportunities we offer to improve the language skills of students, faculty, and technical, management, administrative, and support staff. This initiative represents a step toward becoming a more international, connected, and competitive university, where languages are a natural part of campus life. At the same time, the presentation provided an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the specific needs of the Alcoy Campus. This exchange will enable us to explore possible approaches for implementing new initiatives tailored to the campus’s unique characteristics and the needs of its university community.
The session also served as an opportunity to share ideas, answer questions, and strengthen collaboration between the Language Center and the UPV’s Alcoy Campus, with the goal of making its resources and activities more accessible to all university groups.
We would like to thank the school administration and everyone who participated in the presentation for their kindness and warm welcome.
