The StartUPV entrepreneurial ecosystem has incorporated eight new projects and now has over 200 incubated companies

StartUPVthe incubation and acceleration program for start-ups of the Universitat Politècnica de València, has incorporated eight new projects to its entrepreneurial ecosystem. With these, the number of start-ups has reached 200 (startup)who have gone through the program in its ten years of existence.

The initiatives, formed by students and graduates of the UPV, are:

BelongTelework online platform that aims to combine the flexibility and freedom of remote work with the proximity of face-to-face work.

DerectioEngineering company specialized in photovoltaic installations for industry.

Desaway: company of development of softwareweb pages, mobile applications and graphic design.

FlydronairRemote sensing and aerial treatments expert company for precision agriculture.

OgenicaEngineering company offering consulting services and technical training for industrial professionals.

EBHealth3: company developing non-invasive devices for the detection of diseases

In addition to the new additions, six more start-ups from the program have advanced to the next phase. They are Utopic CosmeticsVerazialIHDEclekteTherminer and Howlanders.

StartUPV, the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the UPV

The eight teams that have just joined StartUPV are in emerging stages of their business ideas, so they are incorporated for a year to the phase ReadyThe program, which includes training, advice, prizes, assistance in the search for funding and a year’s co-working stay at the UPV facilities free of charge.

After the first year, which ends with the formal incorporation of the company, StartUPV offers up to four more years of support, including office space.

The program, which belongs to the Ideas UPV entrepreneurship area, celebrates its tenth anniversary this year and has been attended by companies such as ZelerosCloscaDigital Sun GamesCoverWalletRudoPyroYeeply o BeMore3Damong many others.

Ideas UPV also celebrates this year its 30th anniversary as the pioneer university entrepreneurship area in Spain, with more than 1,000 companies and spin-offs (spinoff) created and more than 500 million euros of external financing generated among its start-ups and projects.
