Functions

The functions of the Vice-Rector’s Office for Students and Entrepreneurship begin with the responsibility for supporting students during their academic and personal career at the University, supervising the quality of the services provided to them, and serving as a link with the units responsible for guidance, teaching, enrollment, scholarships, social aid and student representation, among others. It is in charge of promoting, disseminating and fostering the entrepreneurial culture through the IDEAS UPV entrepreneurship unit, and energizing the STARTUPV entrepreneurial ecosystem for the creation of innovative and technology-based companies. It will also promote the acquisition of transversal competencies through extracurricular activities such as the Spontaneous Generation Program.

Among its functions is the coordination of the tests that according to the applicable regulations are necessary for access to the UPV as well as the management of pre-enrollment, admission and enrollment in official university studies of bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
