The management of the area works by adding synergies among all the agents involved in the training of students: management teams of the centers, academic management of bachelor’s and master’s degrees, doctoral school, UPV services and student delegations.
The main objective is that each and every one of our students feel that they are our priority during their time at UPV, and that we strive to discover their strengths, soften their weaknesses, and work every day so that they remember UPV as one of the best places that has contributed to their integral formation as individuals.
Outstanding Initiatives
Get to know the activity of the Area, we are focused on the following projects.
Integral Plan for Student Support (PIAE+)
It is a project of the Vice Rectorate for Students and Entrepreneurship designed to improve the academic performance of students, prevent dropout, help new students integrate into the campus and ensure insertion into the professional environment.
Student Psychological Assistance Service (SAPE)
The UPV has implemented the Psychological Attention Service for Students, which seeks to improve the mental health of the student body.It is a free service, oriented to students of official degrees of the UPV.
WELCOME DAYS AND FAIR SERVICES DEGREE
The UPV accompanies its students in the adaptation process of entering the university for the first time, with the Welcome Days and PATU, two specific projects for all first-year students.
WELCOME DAY “Live the Master at the UPV” AND MASTER’S SERVICES FAIR
Activities aimed at first year graduate students to welcome them and show the functioning and organization of university life. They consist of an institutional welcome and a fair to present UPV services.
WELCOME DAYS “Live the Doctorate at the UPV” AND DOCTORATE SERVICE FAIR
At the beginning of the research stage, an institutional welcome conference is organized together with the doctoral school so that our doctoral students can learn what the UPV can do for them through a fair.
