Winning student of the Olympics

The UPV has awarded the prizes, which consist of free tuition or a study grant of 1,000 euros.

After winning the local phases of the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geometry, Technical Drawing, Artistic Drawing and Industrial Engineering Olympiads, they have chosen the UPV to pursue their undergraduate studies, and that has a prize.

The UPV grants free tuition or a study grant of 1,000 euros (if already entitled to free tuition) to the winning students of the local or regional phase of the Olympiads provided that they enroll and begin their studies at the UPV.

Nerea, Álvaro, Candela, Felipe, Carles, Mateo and Nicolás have received a study grant of 1,000 euros, since all of them have entered the University with honors and, therefore, were already entitled to free tuition.

Winning students

Nerea Ros CanalesHe studied at the IES Districte Martítim de València and was part of the winning team of the I Olimpiada Valenciana de Ingenierías Industriales. With an access grade of 11,458, he has chosen the UPV to study the Degree in Industrial Informatics and Robotics.

Álvaro Furió Agustí comes from the school La Salle de Paterna and is the winner of the Technical Drawing Olympiad. With an entrance grade of 13.508, his choice has been the Double Degree in Mathematics and Computer Engineering of the UPV.

Candela Mecca MonacoHe studied at the IES Luis Vives de València and won the Artistic Drawing Olympiad. He has entered the Bachelor of Fine Arts of the UPV with an access grade of 13,278.

Felipe Campos AprigioHe studied at the IES Joan Fuster in Sueca and won third place in the Physics Olympics. With an access grade of 13,448, he has chosen the UPV to study the Degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Carles Ardid HerreroHe studied at La Salle school in Paterna. He won the Chemistry Olympiad in the local phase and won the bronze medal in the national phase. With an access grade of 13,414, he studies the Double Degree in Mathematics and Computer Engineering at the UPV.

Mateo Tabernero Fuentes, a student at the IES Pere Boïl de Manises, achieved second place in the Mathematics Olympiad and third in the Physics Olympiad. He obtained an access grade of 13.667 and is studying the Double Degree in Mathematics and Computer Engineering at the UPV.

Nicolás Iserte TarazónHe studied at the Luis Amigó Professional Schools, EPLA (Godella). He won the Physics Olympiad and came third in the Mathematics and Chemistry Olympiads. In addition, he won the silver medal in the national phase of the Physics Olympiads and the bronze medal in the Mathematics and Chemistry Olympiads. With an entrance grade of 13.776, he has chosen the UPV to study the Double Degree in Mathematics and Engineering of Telecommunication Technologies and Services.
