Corporate Chairs
The ChairsThey are a way to establish a broad and qualified collaboration of companies, foundations or entities with business links with the UPV to develop teaching, research, technology and knowledge transfer objectives.
HP Chair
The new Chair will allow the development of internships, as well as fostering collaboration between the company and the university in innovation and development. It will promote and support the participation of students in activities and development of projects carried out in the field of TFG/TFM, with a possible entrepreneurial orientation, multidisciplinary, and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Roche Classroom
The Aula Roche-UPV de Bioinformatics for Personalized Medicine was established on January 23, 2018 through the signing of a collaboration agreement between Roche Farma, S. A. and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) within the framework of the UPV Company Chairs program.
EDICOM Chair
EDICOM, a Valencian company that is an international benchmark in the field of electronic data interchange and trust services, has created the UPV-EDICOM Chair of Development, Deployment and Integration of Cloud Applications, together with the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV-EDICOM).
Classroom for the promotion of employability in the ICT sector
The classroom defines a framework of collaboration between the UPV and the company NTT DATA to carry out activities of general interest. Specifically, the classroom aims to promote and develop activities aimed at students, which provide them with a business vision of the sector, complementing the knowledge acquired in their undergraduate or master’s degrees.
Telefónica Smart IA Company Classroom
The Smart Artificial Intelligence Classroom is developed in collaboration with Telefónica and its purpose is to promote activities of interest that contribute to the development, dissemination and application of new technologies and the study of their impact on different areas of the information society.
Samsung Chair
Thanks to this initiative, a total of 24 students will receive 340 hours of free training in artificial intelligence at the Universitat Politècnica de València, through the Samsung Innovation Campus training program. A project that aims to promote learning in new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and improve the employability of young people.
Chair of Artificial Intelligence
The objective of the Chair is to carry out activities to promote and foster the development of Artificial Intelligence in the field of public administration.
Speeding up and facilitating customer service, decision making or data protection are just some of the applications that Artificial Intelligence can bring to public service.
Mercadona IT Chair
The Mercadona IT Chair connects the talent of the UPV with the technological challenges of Mercadona, a leading Spanish food retail company with a team of more than 1,200 IT professionals, specialized in areas such as software development, cloud infrastructure, data or cybersecurity. Through training, talks, events and internship programs, it brings students closer to the day-to-day work of one of the most innovative technological environments in the sector.
