What will you learn?

The objective of the course is to introduce students to 3D printing and digital fabrication from a practical perspective, providing a basis for designing, preparing and manufacturing their own parts.

This course is part of the project “UPV 2026 TRAINING COURSES FOR THE CULTURAL SECTOR”, project of cultural activities of the Universitat Politècnica de València for 2026, in relation to the line of subsidy in direct concession regime, with the code S0063, with the denomination “COLLABORATION WITH THE UNIVERSITIES FOR THE TRAINING OF CULTURAL PROFESSIONALS” of the Generalitat Valenciana.

Addressed to:

Course aimed at people interested in getting started in 3D printing and digital fabrication, especially profiles linked to creation, design, architecture, cultural mediation, illustration, education or the development of creative projects that want to transform ideas and digital files into physical objects.

Basic computer skills at user level are required.
No previous knowledge of 3D design or 3D printing is required.

It is recommended to provide a 4 GB microSD for working with the laboratory printers.
