YUTalks EXPERIMENTAL proposes a participatory experience to explore the potential of biomaterials in sustainable design. Through hands-on workshops and a co-design session with Sirope Lab, participants will create biomaterials and develop proposals that will be part of a final exhibition with a round table discussion with industry professionals.
3 WORKSHOP SESSIONS:
Workshop 1 – Experimentation with biomaterials
March 26th, 17:00 to 20:00
Introduction to biomaterials and first practical experimentation.
Workshop 2 – Production and selection of materials
April 15 , 11:00 to 14:00
Based on the results of the first session, the most interesting biomaterials will be selected to produce them in larger quantities and prepare them for their application in design.
Workshop 3 – Co-design session
April 24th, 17:00 to 20:00
Collaborative Drive-in Design session in which the developed biomaterials will serve as a starting point to design new product proposals together with Sirope Lab.
