Throughout its more than 25 years of history, the Center for Development Cooperation (CCD) of the UPV has established itself as a statewide reference in promoting the role of the University in the defense of human rights and sustainable human development.

Through different programs of University Cooperation for Development, the CCD has facilitated the orientation of the UPV potential towards social change and the construction of a more just and supportive world. Training spaces, international mobility scholarships that link student learning with real development projects, research programs applied to sustainable human development, or activities to raise awareness and promote volunteerism and citizen participation.

In total, more than 1,000 people from the entire UPV community have been part of an adventure that transforms and broadens the commitment to social change and the fight against poverty. On our campuses, in our professional lives, in our daily lives.

The exhibition is composed of 72 photographs, all of them linked to CCD’s annual contest “Snapshots of Cooperation”. The contest, open to the entire university community, gathers diverse views on international cooperation and social commitment. Around 150 students, teaching and research staff, administration and services personnel, as well as the Alumni collective participated in the contest.

Year after year, and since 2014, “snapshots of Cooperation”, has highlighted the involvement and commitment of the university community in the field of international development cooperation and in the defense of human rights; always emphasizing the importance of the role of the university in the construction of more just, sustainable and supportive societies.
