Remedios Zafra (Zuheros, Córdoba, Spain, 1973) is an essayist, university professor and researcher at the Instituto de Filosofía del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas. She has taught Anthropology, Politics of the Gaze and Gender Studies. Her work is oriented to the critical study of contemporary culture, creation and internet. Her most recent work is The report. Intellectual work and bureaucratic sadness. (Anagrama, 2024). She is also the author of The invisible loop, Fragile, Enthusiasm;(Anagrama Essay Prize and Critical State Prize), Eyes and capital, (h)adas, A connected room of your own and Netianasamong other books. His essay writing work has been awarded important prizes in addition to those mentioned above, such as the Maruja Mallo de Pensamiento, the Jovellanos International Essay Prize, the Meridiana Culture Prize, the El Público Letters Prize, the Malaga Essay Prize, the Caja Madrid Essay Prize, the Leonor de Guzmán Research Prize and the Carmen de Burgos Essay Prize.
