POLINIZADOS 2025 – XX Trobada D’Art Urbà celebrates its twentieth edition with special emphasis on the communicative gestures that define contemporary mural painting, from writing and the sign as fundamental expressive means.
These gestures, which go beyond words, feed a wide spectrum of disciplines such as graffiti, typographic art, poster art, political graffiti or the abstraction of visual codes. On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Encounter has invited renowned artists who will develop specific proposals for the walls and spaces of the Vera Campus of the UPV, between May 12 and 16, 2025.
In this edition, the invited artists include Felipe Pantone (Buenos Aires-Valencia, 1986), Musa71 (Barcelona, 1971), Wasted Rita (Lisbon, 1988), 108 (Alessandria, 1978), Gordopelota (Buenos Aires, 1985) and Lidia Cao (Santiago de Compostela, 1997).
In addition, as in previous editions, the Encounter will feature an educational program parallel to the interventions, with guests who will develop a series of didactic activities open to the public. Among this year’s guests will be MC Alberto, who will present his research published in the bookA journey through the walls from Borriana to Vinaròs. Origins of graffiti in Castellóand Catarina Lira Pereira, guest researcher at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and professor at the Escola Superior de Comunicação, Inovação e Artes IPLUSO.
