Thursday 2rd May at 6.00 p.m.
Aula Magna of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura.
This Thursday, May 2rd, we welcome filmmakers Jaione Camborda and Eloy Enciso, who will talk, among other topics, about their experiences, their way of understanding cinema and how they approach filmmaking in today’s complex context.
The idea of periphery is understood in this dialogue from a double perspective: geographical -both directors develop their work outside the two great poles of reference of production: Madrid and Barcelona-, but above all, aesthetic. Both Jaoine and Eloy understand cinema as an exercise in which form is as important as substance.
Jaione Camborda, with her film “O Corno”, was the first Spanish director to win the Golden Shell at the 71st edition of the San Sebastian International Film Festival in September 2023.
Coordination: Javier Moral Martín.
