Screening of “Les Amants réguliers” by Philippe Garrel
Every Thursday, the Cinéforum is the opportunity to discover a program of exciting films in VOS, including many French-language films.
Synopsis: François, a young poet, takes part in the May ’68 riots in Paris. Amidst the mist and confusion, he sees the beautiful Lilie, whom he will meet a year later at a party at a friend’s house. Between them will be born an intense and tender love that will revive the illusion after the disenchantment of the lost revolution. Sex, poetry, opium, painting and sculpture, will be the new territories frequented by the group of young revolutionaries who will see how the world they had wanted to build will gradually crumble.
