From Zero to infinityis a walk through the world of numbers, illustrated with stories and anecdotes, where we are shown the properties of the essential blocks with which we build our mathematical vision of the world. Numbers, like chemical elements, make up a rich and diverse universe that Professor Joan Gómez i Urgellés unravels in his book, showing us their different faces. They appear linked to objects, to their form, their content, but also indissolubly linked to people and characters that inhabit the history of mathematics, science, literature, art… And there are few activities that are as human as counting.
