Communication
The Communication Area is responsible for disseminating relevant news about the Universitat Politècnica de València through the UPV’s own channels: website, internal newsletter, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, K screens and L screens, TV a la carte, Radio UPV, agenda UPV… And through local, national and international media: agencies, science news portals, general press, radio, television, digital channels…
News on the web
We publish more than 500 news items per year on the UPV web site that cover university news. Thanks to the search engine The contents elaborated in previous years can be consulted and the search can be filtered by date, topic or keyword. In addition, this information is sent in press release format to general and specialized media. If you want to publicize your UPV activities, send us an email: noticias@upv.es
Social media
UPV is present in the main social media: Instagram,Facebook,YouTube,X (Twitter),Telegram,LinkedIn yTikTok. The goal is to provide relevant information and connect with both future students and the media. In the social networks of the UPV you will find all the news of the UPV. UPV al día
The UPV produces a weekly internal bulletin entitled UPV al día which is sent by e-mail to the entire university community. It is a summary of current events with links to videos, podcasts, recommendations, cultural proposals, etc. If you want to disseminate the activities carried out in your center or service, you can send us your request: noticias@upv.es
TV on demand
Every year, the Communication Area edits nearly 200 short videos on current events, which are published in both theYoutube as well as on the UPV website. You can access all the contents and download all the videos broadcasted on the page:
MUPI
Urban Furniture as an Information Point. That is the meaning of the acronym MUPI. In the Vera campus, we have outdoor screens that allow the university community to promote news and events through videos and animations. To disseminate through this support, contact via email.
UPV Radio
The UPV has recording studios from which programs of interest to the university community are generated. The Communication Area offers the possibility of producing radio programs, which are broadcasted on 102.5 FM for the city of Valencia and on the Internet through the web siteradio.upv.es. In addition, students can obtaincredits for undergraduate activities if you make a podcast.
Agenda
Cinema, exhibitions, openings, congresses… and even challenges for the university community. The UPV agenda covers a wide range of events and activities that take place in the different campuses of the university and that are a reflection of the cultural and academic richness. Content creation and consulting
The Communication Area develops institutional communication campaigns and plans, as well as informative and informative videos. It also offers communication advice to the different services, departments and centers, and guidance for contacting suppliers in the audiovisual field.
Photographs
Do you need images for the website of your center, department or research institute? Do you want to have updated photographs of the staff of your unit? Do you require visual content for your projects? Contact the Communication Area to get a brand image aligned with the corporate visual identity of the UPV.
Crisis management
Through our communication channels, such as emails, social networks or website, we ensure that the university community is informed of any critical weather, health or security event, especially in situations announced by the AEMET, the 112CV emergency service and the Ministry of Health to maintain a safe environment at the UPV.
Communication Committee
The Communication and Institutional Image Committee advises on communication matters and participates in joint promotion and recruitment actions. Among its functions is to review the use of the institutional image and manage crisis communication. It has representation from the centers, departments and the Alumni Delegation.
