Do you want to communicate more clearly and fluently in different situations, then theUPV Language Center Learning Atrium is for you!

This is a dynamic and collaborative space where you can practice, improve and really put your communication skills into action. Here you are the protagonist of your own progress. You come to train, to try, to make mistakes without fear and to grow, to communicate better and better.

The Learning Atrium isopen to the entire university community -PTGAS/PI, PDI and students – because we all need to communicate with impact.

In addition, activities are organized inthree intensity levels so that you can find the starting point that best suits you and feel at ease as you progress in your learning.

  • Activate (B1): gain fluency, confidence and fluency in your interactions.
  • Engage (B2): learn to argue clearly, to defend your ideas and to maintain effective exchanges.
  • Advance (C1): take your communication to the next level to perform at its best in presentations, negotiations and more complex situations.

Take the step, activate your potential and discover what you are capable of when you learn to communicate effectively. We are waiting for you!

This program of guided activities with a qualified teacher is free of charge for members of the UPV Language Center (CdL-PLUS).


GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR CdL-PLUS MEMBERSHIP:

Your membership gives you access to the Atrium training system with a clear structure:

  • You have access toa speaking room adjusted to your level, where you can work on fluency, confidence and communicative reflexes.
  • You can choosean additional room according to your interestdepending on your objectives: writing, vocabulary, professional communication, applied AI, etc.
  • In addition, you can participate inall open access activitieswhich will be activated throughout the course.

The offer is dynamic. The rooms and training sessions are updated and evolve, so it is advisable to check the website regularly to see which spaces are running at any given time.

How to access?

The access is freefor the Language Center Partners (CdL-PLUS) (students, PTGAS, PI and PDI acquire membership upon enrollment in the first workshop without any additional formalities);

Registration for the activities can be done through the Language Center’s website:   

In the calendar, select the session that best fits your objectives and register for that activity;

Activities with reservation

  • Participation in workshops and activities will take place subject to availabilityuntil full capacity is reached.  
  • When you sign up for an activity, your place shall be reserved at that timethroughout the semester;
  • Ser Partner of the Centro de Lenguas (CdL-PLUS)gives you access to a un un MAXIMUM OF 2 SESSIONS DIFFERENTper week: one session of Speaking Lab and one session of your choice;
  • The sessions of Faculty 1-to-1 are for PDI only and will be organized according to availability and criteria established by the CdL. 

Can I lose my place?

Yes, if you miss two sessions without noticeyour place will be free. The repeated non-attendance to several activities, without prior notice, may imply the temporary loss of the right to attend the sessions with a limited number of places during the current four-month period;

If you can no longer attend an activity, you can unsubscribe;

If you want to change activities, you can do so as long as you cancel your active activity, you have not temporarily lost the right to attend and there are still places available;

Maintaining your membership involvescommitment to your own training process. Consistency is what allows practice to become real competence.

Can activities change throughout the course?

Yes, the programming of activities may be adjusted or updatedthroughout the academic year to adapt to the needs of the university community and the availability of resources;

In addition, the Language Center reserves the right to cancel or modifyactivities or sessions that do not have sufficient demand or a minimum number of participants;

The Language Center may also temporarily limit access to the program in case of inappropriate use of the services, in order to ensure its proper functioning;
