Campus Praktikum

A total of 250 students participated, from June 20 to 23, in the Campus Praktikum held at the Universitat Politècnica de València.

A total of 250 students participated, from June 20 to 23, in the Campus Praktikum held at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), on the Vera, Gandia and Alcoy campuses, a free event that has returned to its on-site edition after three years.

The Praktikum Campus is aimed at students in the 1st year of Bachillerato and Higher Level Training Cycles with an overall academic record of excellent. They are offered the unique opportunity to learn first hand and experience the different workshops and activities that are carried out in the field of various degrees offered by the UPV, so that they can be useful and clarifying for the subsequent choice of their higher university studies.

At the Vera campus, 223 students participated. At the Gandia campus about twenty students participated, while at the Alcoy campus about ten students took part.

35 workshops offered at the three campuses

Students participating in the Praktikum Campus 2022 were able to choose from a total of 35 thematic workshops available to them.

On the Vera campus, a total of 25 projects have been carried out in areas such as robotics, the natural environment, chemical engineering and metareality. In Gandia they have worked on tourism, communication and environment, and in Alcoy they have addressed, among others, recycling, chemical engineering or chromatography.

Likewise, during the week the program is combined with sports activities and organized visits to different laboratories and services in order for them to get to know the campus. Likewise, activities are organized to promote the exchange of experiences among the students participating in the different projects.

The UPV Praktikum Campus is an event organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Students and Entrepreneurship of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
