Solar energy production at the Gandia campus

This week starts operating a new solar energy production facility at the Universitat Politècnica de València. It is a photovoltaic installation on the roof of Building G1A of the Polytechnic School of Gandia, which consists of 90 panels of 545 Wp of unit power and an inverter of 50 kW nominal power, achieving a peak power of 49.1 kWp. The expected production of the new installation is about 74,200 kWh per year.

In this way, the Gandía campus will be added to the existing productions or those in the contracting phase of the Alcoy and Vera campuses. Following the renewable energy implementation plan, this installation will be completed with others on the same campus.

The Infrastructure Service has managed this installation.
