What should a Material Transfer Agreement contain?
It must include a description of the material to be transferred and the research work to be carried out with that material, the agreement will establish conditions regarding the restricted use and confidentiality of the material and information exchanged between the parties, the way in which the material will be transferred indicating quantities, location and deadlines, the possibility of publication of the work, the obligation to indicate the origin of the material used and the possibility of shared ownership of the results in some cases.
Who signs it?
The Responsible Professor on behalf of the UPV, in accordance with Article 160 of the UPV Statutes and the UPV Regulations on the Protection and Transfer of Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights.
What if the other party wants to use a different model than the UPV?
