Programs with Hospitals
What if your technology could change patients’ lives? In the UPV-Hospitals collaboration programs we connect UPV researchers with professionals from the healthcare system to develop together solutions to major healthcare challenges.
From i2T we make it easier for UPV research to connect with clinical practice, generating impact beyond the laboratory.
What are hospital programs?
These are strategic alliances between the UPV and public health research centers to promote joint research and innovation projects. These programs allow UPV researchers to work directly with clinical professionals to co-create technological solutions applied to the field of health.
Ideas and projects with high impact potential are selected through specific calls for proposals, jointly financed by both institutions.
What is its purpose?
We want to bring the technological knowledge of the UPV to clinical environments, promoting applied research, technology transfer and innovation in health. The programs seek to respond to real problems of the health system, generating direct benefits for patients and new opportunities for scientific development for UPV researchers.
In addition, they open up new lines of research, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and attract competitive regional, national and international funding.
What does i2T do in the programs?
From i2T we coordinate the whole process:
- We collect ideas from hospitals and UPV groups.
- We identify synergies and facilitate the match between technical and clinical profiles.
- We advise on the preparation of joint proposals.
- We manage the calls for grants and their follow-up.
- We organize conferences, workshops and meetings to energize the community.
Our role is to help you make the project flow: you provide the knowledge, we create the framework and connect the pieces.
Which institutions do we collaborate with?
