Quality objectives specific to the ETSINF
The specific quality objectives of the ETSINF are:
- Updating and expanding the academic offerings of bachelor’s and master’s degrees to adapt to the needs of the ICT sector, taking into account the recommendations of the Advisory Council of the ETSINF, as well as the accreditation, monitoring and reaccreditation reports of ANECA or AVAP and the management reports of its degree programs.
- Obtaining and renewing international quality certifications, such as the EURO-INF seal, guaranteeing excellence in the training provided.
- Improvement of academic and administrative management systems, ensuring efficiency, transparency and accountability, in order to optimize internal processes and respond to the expectations of the different stakeholders.
- Development of flexible and innovative training opportunities, such as the implementation of hybrid modalities in master’s programs and training activities that enhance the learning experience, facilitating the adaptation of students to the demands of the market.
- Strengthening of links with companies in the ICT field, through company chairs, internship agreements, company classrooms and strategic collaborations, in order to increase the satisfaction of graduates with their training and improve their employability.
- Encouraging the updating of knowledge and skills of teaching and research staff, promoting training in innovative methodologies, digital tools and emerging areas of ICT, ensuring quality teaching and constant evolution.
- Alignment of the actions of the ETSINF with the UPV Strategic Plan, promoting quality, internationalization and the social impact of its degrees and initiatives, through mobility programs, academic cooperation and projects with an impact on society and the business community.

Functions
It is responsible for planning the actions directed towards the implementation, certification, development and effectiveness of the SIQ_UPV in the center. Its competences in quality matters are the following:
- Planning, monitoring and review of the center’s quality objectives.
- Propose to the School or Faculty Council the approval and revision of the Center’s Quality Manual.
- Ensure compliance with and review the status of the center’s improvement actions and its training programs.
- Analyze and monitor the quality indicators of the training programs and the center.
- Propose to the School or Faculty Council the approval of external monitoring and accreditation reports.
- And any other competence in matters of quality delegated by the School or Faculty Council.
- The School or Faculty Council is responsible for those competencies in quality matters that have not been specifically delegated to the committee.
