Beyond Google: Learn How to Do Research Using the Library, PoliBuscador, and AI

Did you know there’s a world of academic resources far more powerful than any conventional search engine? ETSIADI invites you to discover it in a free, hands-on workshop designed to help you get the most out of the research tools available to you as UPV students.

A session to take your search for information to the next level

The next Thursday, November 19, 2026, the Library of Aerospace Engineering and Industrial Design, in collaboration with the tutoring program UPV PIAE+, is organizing a training session titled “Beyond Google: The Library, PoliBuscador, and AI”. This initiative is organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Support at ETSIADI.

The goal is clear: to help you become familiar with and master the advanced academic documentation tools that the university makes available to you, beyond the general-purpose search engines you use on a daily basis. At a time when artificial intelligence is transforming the way we access knowledge, this talk will help you understand how to integrate it critically and efficiently into your study and research processes.

What will you see during the session?

• How to Make the Most of the Resources of the ETSIADI Library for your assignments and projects.
• The ecosystem of the PoliBuscador The UPV’s database: what it is, what it contains, and how to use it effectively to find high-quality academic references.
• The integration of the artificial intelligence in the processes of documenting, searching for, and analyzing information.
• Strategies for going a step beyond Google in your academic and professional life.
