THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, AT 12:30 PM. ETSIADI ASSEMBLY HALL
Denis Pancorbo holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and has spent his entire professional career at Indra Sistemas, specializing in radar systems for air traffic control.
He recently took charge of the deployment of a new network of air surveillance radars in Colombia, a project worth more than 65 million euros that involves the installation of seven radar stations and the modernization of more than 50 percent of the country’s network.
In this talk, Denis will share his professional journey—from the classrooms of the UPV to leading major international projects—and will give us insight into the technological, logistical, and human challenges involved in deploying radar systems at remote sites with complex terrain and extreme weather conditions.
