The Dolçaina and Percussió Group of the UPV welcomes the holidays with an intense week of Fallas events on the Vera campus.
Official reception for the Falleras Mayores (March 3rd)
The nextMarch 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.At the Rectorate of the UPV (Vera Campus), the Grup de Dolçaina i Percussió will accompany the official reception of the Falleras Mayores. The rectorate team of the UPV will receive the Falleras Mayores of the UPV 2026 (Carmen Alonso García and Laura García Alonso) and the Falleras Mayores de València 2026 (Marta Mercader Roig and Carmen Prades Gil).
At the end of the reception, there will be a parade through the Vera Campus bringing the Fallas atmosphere to different parts of the university campus.
Parade and mascletà (March 6)
TheMarch 6 at 12:00 noonOnce again, from the Rectorate, the Grup de Dolçaina i Percussió UPV will lead a new parade through the Vera Campus.
On this occasion, the tour will be used to carry out the pick-up of the Erasmus fallers and the rector’s team of the UPV which will travel together to the mascletà of the City Council of Valencia.
With these activities, the Universitat Politècnica de València reaffirms its commitment to Valencian culture and traditions, integrating the entire university community -including international students- in the celebration of the Fallas 2026.
