The UPV hosts the presentation of the documentaryThe night of terrora work that delves into the human and material consequences of the DANA that affected numerous municipalities in the region.
The screenings will take place attwo sessionsat12:00 h and to the18:00 hat the Auditorium of the Facultat de Belles Arts UPV. Hisdirector,Alfonso Aguadohas confirmed his attendance to both sessions, where he will give a brief presentation beforehand and participate in acolloquium back.
The documentary stands out for the conditions in which it was produced: without public subsidies or private contributions, financed exclusively with the scarce resources of its authors, who began filming with their cameras still full of mud after the catastrophe. The work is conceived as a tribute to the victims and to the hundreds of thousands of volunteers who came from all corners of the country to help those affected.
The UPV hosts this presentation given the important involvement in volunteer work during the emergency. With the coordination of Professor,Juan V. OltraIn addition, a campaign was coordinated to collect cell phones and computers to help the victims, with the indispensable collaboration of numerous student volunteers and several members of the PTGAS.
Acolloquium After the screening of the documentary, the director, as well as volunteers and family members of the victims mentioned in the documentary, will share their experiences and perspectives.
